We are excited to bring you another edition of #Behindthemower where we introduce you to the faces and personalities who design, build, and maintain properties here at Farmside.
Meet Jacob and Joshua! These brothers both joined the Farmside family during our spring season this year. Joshua was here for just a few weeks before referring his brother to get in touch with the hiring team. It wasn’t a hard decision to bring him on as an addition to the maintenance team- especially after we had already seen what kind of work ethic Joshua has.
Jacob is most proud of his work when he sees the results of a clean mowing job. “It’s nice to turn around and see all the straight lines you just made,” he says.
Jacob’s favorite thing to do when he has free time is to get creative with woodworking. He has been perfecting his craftsmanship for 8 years – check out this photo of some of his work!
Joshua enjoys playing basketball and getting to snowboard in the winter. He also makes it a point to get a slushie from Seven Eleven whenever the chain offers the free perk to it’s customers and holds the record for most cookies eaten at a team BBQ.
Both brothers really appreciate that at Farmside the team all takes ownership in everything we do, whether it be good moments or tough moments. At every safety meeting we recap any near miss incidents or lessons learned on a jobsite so everyone can grow from each other’s experiences. We are very happy to have Jacob and Joshua as another set of siblings contributing to the goals we have here and look forward to seeing them continue to grow as professionals in the landscape industry!
