We have officially ventured into our 35th year of servicing Sussex County and early this month we met with the whole Farmside team to gear up for the Spring season together.
Not only did we get to welcome the whole team back to work but we were able to celebrate two years of service award recipients.
Our maintenance manager Jake celebrated 20 years with Farmside! Many of those years spent managing our maintenance department and providing our clients with the well groomed “Farmside standard” lawn they are looking for. Bruce, Jake’s father, celebrated 5 years at Farmside as our fleet and equipment mechanic. Bruce handles everything from leaf blowers to freightliner engines and keeps all of Farmside running smoothly from site to site.
After reviewing our upmost of importance safety policies, customer service guidelines and general company procedures, our new team members jumped right into training with our seasoned landscape professionals. We are excited to see the continued interest in the landscape industry coming from the younger generations and plan to foster that with further opportunities for them to grow here at Farmside.
The maintenance team is working through spring clean ups and gearing up for mulching and mowing. The construction team is chipping away at some exciting projects already that we can’t wait to share with you, and our Lawn and Plant health care departments are carefully approaching their first applications on clients properties.
