The Farmside team had the opportunity to visit another landscape professional’s operation in Massachusetts last week with over 200 fellow members of the NALP. R.P Marzilli & Company is a well-known and admired business working in multiple locations throughout their state. Working on high end-residential properties- their construction, maintenance, and garden professionals have created a name for themselves across the country as a leader in the industry and reliable landscape resource.
On our “Field Trip,” to R.P Marzilli we participated in a tour through their new facility as well as every department and heard from their team members directly about the way they perform their job and remain a high-quality service company from the inside out. We had the opportunity to visit one of their well-loved landscapes at Tower Hill Botanical Garden and immerse ourselves in the environment they have built their company brand in.
After touring their headquarters and learning about the way they run their operation, our team is going back to NJ with an expanded knowledge and passion for our craft. Farmside recognizes that it is important to be always learning and pouring into your own team as well as your client- trips like this are just one way that we continue to Keep Promises, Exceed Expectations, and Own the Outcome in the green industry.
One of our biggest takeaways from R.P Marzilli was their sensitivity to detail. It was particularly impressive how thorough each department was in their mission of serving the client the best way possible.
